WW2 78th Infantry Division Locally Made Lapel badge

Believed to have been produced in Italy/ Sicily in 1943-44 out of thin sheet brass I have seen a Battle dress that was worn during the Italian campaign that had one of these unofficial badges attached to it, I have another example of this badge in a bring back tin of items from the Italian campaign
