William Alexander HUNTER joined 45th Battalion A.I.F on 19.1.16 in Dunedoo NSW , born Johnshaven, Scotland he emigrated to Australia around 1895 due to chest problems needing a warmer climate after several attempts was taken on strength and sent to France , it appears that the damp and cold affected him as Within a year ill with chronic Bronchitis he was discharged back to Australia, medals are in excellent condition
