WW2 A.R.P lapel badge, J.S & S. Ltd (Demolition)
Joseph Sankey & Sons Ltd, originally started in Wolverhampton originally manufacturing car bodies , axles and a range of Art metalware, during WW2 they made parts for the De Havilland Mosquito and early jet engines, using the word Demolition i am assuming that they had volunteers who used there engineering skills to help in bomb damaged structures, obviously this badge has seen plenty of wear, a rare badge indeed.
