1st Day K.I.A (09/05/15) Battle of Aubers Ridge, victory medal

Victory medal awarded to 1429 Pte Sidney William LANGLEY of the 13th (County of London) Battalion (Princess Louises Kensington Battalion) of East Finchley who was K.I.A on the first day of the Battle of Aubers Ridge , this being an unmitigated disaster for the British who are recorded as having over 11,000 casualties and losses. Medal is in good unaltered condition
