1st Version WAR SERVICE AUSTRALIA badge

Very rare badge only one i have ever seen outside a museum, Bronze badge in superb condition , only short lived prior the introduction of the silver and enamel version. WW1 War Service Australia , Issued and worn by mainly female members of staff based at the AIF HQ , located in Horseferry Rd, their work covered all aspects of keeping the AIF supported whilst serving in Europe.
