Australian war medal; 7 Pte. W.McNeil 3rd Field Amb A.I.F

Low service number 7 issued to William McNeil of the 3rd Field Ambulance A.I.F . Originally born in Glasgow he was living in Brisbane when on 18/08/14 he enlisted into the Australian Military Forces. He served in Gallipoli before injuring his knee which led to a medical discharge. He then managed to re enlist in April 1917 and was sent to France, 11/08/18 was W.I.A with a G.S.W and suffering from a gas attack, medal is in superb condition .
