Beautifully made gold bullion on deep red velvet miniature xmas gift tapestry dedicated to Doctor , Colonel Hugh William ACTON C.I.E , I.M.S .
Born in 1883 he had a distinguished career in the world of tropical diseases and serving during the first WW1 in Mesopamia and Middle East as a medical Doctor with the 53rd SIKHS gaining an M.I.D .
He died unexpectedly at 52 years old in 1935 . A fine item in outstanding condition.
