R.W.A.F.F button horn buttons

A great example of a pair of RWAFF horn buttons - sized 15mm and 22mm. 22mm is nicely maker marked.

James Grove & Sons Ltd was a distinguished British button manufacturer based in Halesowen, West Midlands.

The RWAFF stands for the Royal West African Frontier Force, a British colonial military organization established in 1900. It was composed of regiments from the British West African colonies, including Nigeria, Ghana (formerly the Gold Coast), Sierra Leone, and Gambia.
