WW2 Silver A.R.P badge in original Red cardboard box of issue

WW2 Air Raid Precautions Services solid silver badge.
Amazing to have survived, these are absolutely mint and unissued and have been stored until recently in blanket box having been found outside Farnham Town hall in 1950 when they were clearing out the storeroom and they were left out for anyone who wanted them !!.
Each box is sold separately at £18 each, the waxed envelope contains a 1937-8 solid silver hallmarked A.R.P badge with button hole fixing, the envelopes have never even been opened .
