1st BRAHMANS cast brass shoulder title with 2 rear lug fixings.
The regiment was known for its ethnic homogeneity, being composed entirely of Brahmins. It was involved in several conflicts, including the Second Maratha War and the 3rd Burma War. In 1922, it became the 4th Battalion of the 1st Punjab Regiment, and was ultimately disbanded in 1931.
