QVC South Australian Police helmet plate circa 1898-1902

Australian 8th Batt medals to W.ALLAN , Anzac & France 1914-19

Interesting group of father and son medals. Pte 1509 Walter ALLAN joined 8th Battalion A.I.F on 10/11/14 embarking for Egypt 19/2/15. Shown as landing ANZAC 8/5/15 until 27/8/15 in this time he appears to have been wounded and hospitalised and returned to ANZAC at least twice whilst also being reprimanded and charged a couple of times one being 28 days No2 Field Punishment ( reduced to 11 days)...  read more
