2 solid silver sports medallions issue to Pte 6113 Alfred SAWYER 1/4th Queens Own R.W.K.R .
The 1/4th The Buffs being a Territorial Battalion from Tonbridge Kent who were sent to India October 1914 spending the entire war in Eygpt and Mesopotamia.
The MIC for Sawyer shows in addiction to his war and victory medal he was issued a I.G.S in 1919 with a NWFF bar.  read more
