Full entitlement of Military Medal and trio awarded to Pte 8004, Robert J Read Of the X1 Army Cyclist Corps. Unusually the MM which was awarded on 17/4/18 for gallantry under very heavy shell fire still has the original congratulations card given to Read his senior officer, along with the medals are his certificates of Discharge from 6th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers, the medals have obviously been proudly worn and are all correctly named

He later transferred to the MGC with the number 72991 serving in France he was gassed in 1918. Entitled to War, Victory & T.F medal, luckily this mans records survived and are 50 pages long
